Collins College boasts two locations - Collins College in Tempe, Arizona, and Phoenix, Arizona. Associate's and bachelor's degree programs are offered, although availability differs by location.

Collins College occupies approximately 104,000 square feet of floor space, filled with various classrooms, computer labs, a digital print room, video editing bays and a photographic studio. Our computer workstations and software are industry-current and downright impressive. You can also find a comprehensive library/resource center, student learning centers and a student store. Our North Phoenix and Tempe locations are accessible to the handicapped.

Collins College offers a student-centered environment. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl, Collins has a schedule to fit your particular lifestyle. Day and evening sessions are offered, letting you choose the times that are most convenient for you.

The college population averages approximately 2,000 students between day and evening classes. Every attempt is made to keep class size to a ratio of one teacher per 25-35 students. Student assistants are utilized to facilitate individual attention in larger classes.

We feature all the tools of the trade.
Our North Phoenix and Tempe campuses are designed with everything you need to get down to the business of being successful. You can use real-world tools for real-world applications. In fact, you can be trained to use the same equipment you could be using on the job. Some of our programs utilize high-performance Macintosh® computers and Windows NT® workstations, while others use PC laptops and desktops. Others include work with motion-picture film cameras and Sony HDCAM® cameras and decks.

The right software can make a good artist great. That's why we use programs including Adobe Photoshop® and Illustrator®, Macromedia® Flash™, Alias/Wavefront® Maya™, Discreet® 3ds max®, flame® and smoke®. And our Network Technology program includes Cisco® switch and router simulation software, as well as a variety of Novell® and Microsoft® applications.

Bachelor - Interior Design

The Interior Design program can prepare students for entry-level positions in the interior design industry. Students are expected to develop design concepts for interior spaces, and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments that meet client needs. Architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents. Building systems, regulations, and current business practices are taught to prepare students.

Associate - Digital Video Production

Express your ideas in the intriguing world of celluloid and videotape. After learning the ins and outs of screenwriting, pre- and post-production and non-linear editing, plus exploring lighting and audio for video and field production, you can demonstrate your talent in the form of videos you create from concept to final, edited composition. You should be prepared for an entry-level career in television production, industrial video or production for Web casting.

Bachelor - Film and Video Production

After successfully completing our associate's degree program, you can advance your knowledge in the broadcast field and learn to tell a great story behind the lens of a camera. This practical, real-world curriculum focuses on the creative, technical and business aspects of the industry. You'll explore lighting, audio for video, television studio production and nonlinear editing.
